Attention sophomores: You must be at school on Monday by 6:50 in order to catch the bus to New Hampshire. We will be leaving promptly at 7:00.

Freshmen are reminded to turn in permission slips to their advisors.

Anyone who has not signed up for an AP Exam for May, must see Mrs. Olson this week.


The Outing Club is selling t-shirts. Get your "W.H.O.C. This Way.." for ony $7. Order by Thursday from Mrs. Carter or Mr. Keyes.

The TREK ACROSS MAINE is in it's 26th year and some local participants are hoping to put together a Wiscasset team. It is a fundraising event for the American Lung Association of Maine. It involves 180 miles of bicycling in three days from Sunday River to Belfast and lots of great comraderie, good food and entertainment along the way. The event is also looking for up to 600 volunteers which is a great chance to have a blast and earn some of your Community Service credits. Please see Nurse Cary with any questions and look for an informational meeting after school sometime in April to be announced in the next week or two.

Have you seen the new "Aspiration Day" flyers posted around the hallways? On Friday April 2nd there will be a new "Spirit Points" Day. On that day everyone is encouraged to wear the outfit of a career that they aspire to!! Teachers are encouraged to participate as well! Who knows what they wanted to be in addition to teachers?? Dress up on April 2nd and earn points for your class!!


The University of Maine Cooperative Extension is offering a Tractor Safety Course to high school students in Sidney each Monday evening in April. This course is designed for students who plan to operate farm equipment either on their family farm or as a summer job. A Federal Certificate of Training will be issued at the successful completion of the course. See Mrs. Scally in Guidance for a registration form.

The weight room will be open from 2:45 to 3:45 every Tuesday & Thursday for any student interested in doing some weight training.

A local group is looking for a culinary student to assist Chef Peter Varns with a luncheon cooking demonstration on March 24th. You can earn credit for community service hours. Contact Cheryl Dilts in the school or Martha Speed through the front office.

Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick will host a "Healthcare Career Day" for high school and college students on Wednesday, March 31. This is an opportunity to explore the many career opportunities available and to meet and talk with hospital professionals. Students interested in learning more about health care jobs should see Guidance for information about the excellent event.

Seniors: The scholarship book in the Guidance Office has been updated with lots of new scholarship opportunities.

Attention Seniors!!! Please bring in pictures of yourself for this year's Senior Video!! Be sure to put your name on the back of each photo and put them in the designated box in the front office!!! Photos may also be given to Mrs. Pooler in the MacLab.

Friday detention is in room 209 with Mrs. Taylor today.
